Richard Baker is an English photographer whose projects and assignments appear in books, magazines and company image collections. He is perhaps best-known for his collaborations with Alain de Botton on 'The Pleasures and Sorrows of Work' (Hamish Hamilton, 2009) for 'A Week at the Airport: A Heathrow Diary' (Profile Books) and for Red Arrows, his own reportage about Britain's Royal Air Force aerobatic team (Dalton Watson, 2005). Richard lives in London. Richard tries to instinctively pursue projects that are geographical or merely themes on the incongruous and the everyday, while always having more than a passing thought for the aesthetics of aviation, industry and urban landscape. Richard sends Twitter updates about his photography through @bakerpictures www.bakerpictures.com
