Lewiston, Idaho and Clarkston, Washington are joined by two bridges over the Snake River after it exits Hells Canyon. The Clearwater river is entering from the left. These towns are named after the explorers Lewis and  Clark who traveled through here on thier way to the Pacific Ocean.
