Bio

Elliot grew up in Opelika, Alabama where he became intrigued with photography at an early age. He attended the University of Alabama, where he received a BA in Visual Communication, combining traditional b+w film photography with digital photojournalism. During that time, he worked at The Crimson White newspaper as photo editor, while freelancing with publications around the globe, including the New York Daily News, Zoo Magazine (UK), Nashville City Paper, The Picture Magazine (Australia), The Tuscaloosa News, Alabama Alumni Magazine, Opelika-Auburn News, and various other publications. Elliot's background in both fine art photography and photojournalism allow his work to cover diverse subjects in a unique and creative style that seeks to capture and celebrate the inherent beauty of people, places and things as they exist.
